ILOTA Live Virtual Event on September 26, 2023: "OT Pediatric Pelvic Health for Potty Training and Beyond"

Description:

Occupational therapy practitioners bring a unique perspective to the healthcare team, in that OTPs focus on the daily function, meaning, and participation within ADLs such as toileting. In the pediatric population, the OTP role has continued to grow and become more valuable due to the need for holistic intervention regarding pediatric bowel and bladder health and continuation with toileting goals. OTPs practicing in pediatrics need a deeper understanding of pelvic health and how this impacts toilet training and toileting skills.
