Speaker:
Dave Martin, O.D.
"I received my undergraduate degree from Northern Michigan University in 1992. I continued my optometric training and received my Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2005. I then continued my developmental vision training in Vision Therapy and Vision Development at the Kansas Vision Development Center. I then completed the clinical curriculum from the Optometric Program Extension Foundation.
My passion is Neuro-Optometric vision rehabilitation, and I truly enjoy helping patients that suffer from traumatic brain injuries, such as concussion, returning them to a more normal life and helping them to continue to pursue their interests. I am also an active member of the Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation Association and the Neuro-Optometric Vision Rehabilitation Association. I also belong to the International Sports Vision Association. Sports vision enhancement and training are also something I am very passionate about.
I opened the Family Vision Development Center in 2010 where we are about to celebrate our 15th anniversary."
