Midwestern University is a private, not-for-profit graduate and postgraduate educational institution specializing in the health sciences with 12 colleges located on two campuses. The Illinois campus, located on a 105-acre site in Downers Grove, is home to nearly 3,000 students. The health care programs offered in the Illinois campus of the University include Osteopathic Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmacy, Optometry, Biomedical Sciences, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, Clinical Psychology, Speech-Language Pathology, and Occupational Therapy.  The Occupational Therapy Program is fully accredited to offer the Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree. The Occupational Therapy curriculum is taught by 14 full-time and two adjunct faculty members who range in expertise and teaching experience. The Program matriculates 50 entry level OT students each year, or 150 students across the 33-month curriculum.
