Course Description: Implantable vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) paired with upper extremity rehabilitation with the Vivistim Paired VNS system is an FDA approved therapy for moderate to severe chronic ischemic stroke. This session will discuss the preliminary findings of a real-world implementation study of Paired VNS provided exclusively in the home setting by mobile therapists. The potential benefits and challenges of in-home Paired VNS will be discussed.
