Course Description: The Illinois OT Practice Act secured direct access for OT. Direct access empowers OT practitioners to advance their services. But it demands strong diagnostic skills to ensure client safety. Unlike other professions, OTs lack standardized training and tools for differential diagnosis. This interactive workshop will explore current evidence and strategies to: equip OTPs for best practice, support payment, and enhance care quality via a presentation and small group case study problem-solving.
