Course Description: OTPs have an impactful role to play in the treatment and management of chronic pain. However, pain, especially complex chronic pain, remains misunderstood by many healthcare practitioners resulting in inadequate treatment and management of pain related to chronic illness. This course will review current evidence and practice in the treatment of chronic pain, especially for those with co-morbid chronic illnesses, and highlight the lived experiences of those living with chronic pain.
