Course Description: People experiencing unsheltered homelessness (PEUH) face extensive barriers to daily living needs and housing transition. This presentation will describe occupational therapy’s role within a multidisciplinary street outreach team, engaging clients at encampments, under viaducts, and other places not meant for human habitation to establish connections and increase clients’ occupational engagement and well-being while also preparing for transitioning into stable and permanent housing.
