Course Description: This poster presents an evidence-based, occupational therapy-focused clinical pathway for the evaluation, treatment, and discharge of patients with locked-in syndrome (LIS). The application of this pathway has improved the consistency and quality of education and occupational therapy programming related to patients with this diagnosis. Additionally, it is intended to address the complex patient care needs and high-level clinical decision-making involved in LIS cases.
