Course Description: Access to Occupational Therapy services for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities residing in ICFs and CILAs is limited. Participants will learn about an innovative collaboration between a Therapy Department and a Community Day Service site that was initiated to offer rehabilitation services to ICF clients and developed into a novel service delivery model offering therapy, therapeutic day programming, and integrated safeguards to proactively support this aging population.
