Course Description: Upper extremity use following acquired brain injury can be a significantly limiting factor in return to daily living. However, current practice does not always reflect incorporation of up to date evidence. In this workshop, general principles of evidence-based practice will be discussed with further exploration of assessments of upper extremity function, specific interventions to enhance principles of neuroplasticity and motor recovery, and how to incorporate these into everyday practice.
