Course Description: This presentation discusses occupational therapy considerations for working with deaf and hard-of-hearing children (D/HH). We examine client and contextual factors impacting occupational performance, including considerations for supporting occupational participation and performance skills across motor, process, and social interaction domains. A case study will be used to illustrate occupation-based evaluation and intervention approaches while working with a D/HH child with developmental delay.
