Course Description: This workshop is designed to prepare the participant to become aware of the challenges that the disability community face with sexual and intimate relationships. We will engage in learning activities to better integrate sexuality and intimacy in the OT process, from evaluation to intervention. Participants will practice new skills with cases in a variety of unique areas such as adapted menstrual hygiene, sexual trauma, and special considerations for the older adult.
