Course Description: The current understanding of autism and neurodiversity is primarily that of children and adolescents and from the perspective of caregivers and service providers. This leaves the lived experience of neurodiverse adults largely unknown and underserved. Our research targeted the first-person perspective of neurodiverse adults as to the supports and barriers to communication, relationships, and self-expression. This aims to fill the gap in the research by understanding their perspectives and needs.
