This hour-long session will review the existing literature about national fieldwork shortages, the evolution of the accreditation standards related to level I fieldwork, and the effectiveness of the use of simulation in education. This presentation will then share the results of the retrospective cohort design analysis that analyzed the impact of virtual simulation-based level I fieldwork (Simucase) on OT students performance on level II fieldwork.
