Course Description: This session will share the results of a quality improvement project using the Residential Environmental Impact Scale (REIS) in a novel environment, a pediatric transitional care unit (TCU), to understand the impact the environment has on the pediatric residents and recommendations to the organization for improvements. Participants will be able to reflect and apply the elements of the REIS to other residential pediatric care settings.
