Course Description: Declining enrollment and limited diversity in occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant programs have led to initiatives to recruit youth from diverse backgrounds. The ILOTA Community Outreach Committee was formed to address this issue. This short course describes the committee's efforts in creating programming and promotional materials for practitioners and OT/OTA students to use in outreach. Resources and materials will be presented, along with ways to get involved.
