Course Description: The purpose of this presentation is to introduce sex and intimacy as a meaningful occupation and describe how it relates to the inpatient rehabilitation setting. Following this course, occupational therapy students and practitioners will gain the knowledge and confidence necessary to address sex and intimacy for patients with acute or chronic disabilities in the inpatient rehabilitation setting.
