Course Description: Hand and wrist injuries - from the mundane “jammed” finger to the potentially season-ending fractures and dislocations - are among the most common ways athletes can get sidelined from their sport. In this presentation, occupational therapy practitioners hear firsthand from a hand surgeon on how he assesses and treats these upper extremity injuries, and uses evidence-based guidelines to help inform return-to-play decisions.
