Course Description: This presentation will discuss how occupational therapy practitioners across Illinois can utilize fabricated, customized assistive technology (AT) devices to benefit recipients with complex individualized needs. It will describe a variety of fabrication services available, materials used to create fabricated devices, an overview of the Illinois Assistive Technology Program and Makers program, as well as examples of unique fabricated AT devices being used by Illinois residents.
