Course Description: An estimated one million Americans live with Multiple sclerosis (MS), a chronic neurologic disease that often begins in young adulthood and affects patients in a variety of ways throughout their lives. This presentation will focus on the different types of symptoms presented over the course of the disease and the best treatments for them, including occupational therapy - with its energy conservation, visual, and cognitive therapies - helping patients maintain their best life possible.
