Course Description: This presentation describes the development and preliminary implementation of a level I fieldwork experience at a juvenile justice center in Illinois. OT Practitioners and students collaborated to build a life skills transition program for youth at the facility and then delivered services weekly. Development of curriculum with supporting research and resources, occupational therapy’s roles and opportunities in this setting, and student experiences are shared.
