Course Description: This presentation describes how the Model of Human Occupation, the Asset-Based Community Development framework, and the “promotora” model shaped a migrant women’s cooperative. Participants will gain practical insights into how OT principles can be applied in community settings to support migrant populations. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on their own practices and consider how they can leverage the strengths and capacities of the communities they serve.
