Course Description: Context is important when providing OT services to adults. Research shows that occupation-centered interventions improve performance. By providing OT services in the client’s home environment interventions are focused on the occupation within the client’s context. OT practitioners will learn to deliver services in the home/community, case examples will be provided and assessments will be reviewed. Additional topics include appropriate interventions, home evaluations, and caregiver training.
