Course Description: People who identify as transgender and/or gender diverse are receiving genital surgeries that align their gender identity with one's body. Occupational therapy practitioners need to be aware of these surgeries in order to provide high quality healthcare. This presentation will focus on educating about the various vaginal genital surgeries that are being performed, the affected occupations, and guidelines from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health about these surgeries.
