Course Description: This presentation offers an overview of a doctoral capstone project which implemented an 8-week health and wellness curriculum that sought to educate the Down syndrome (DS) population, offer increased opportunities for engagement in health and wellness practices, and increase self-determination. It will provide an overview of the gap in research the study addressed, the 8-week curriculum, and the outcomes of the implementation of the program.
