Course Description: Employment and independent living outcomes for students with disabilities transitioning to post-secondary environments remain poor. Legislation supports a person-centered approach for transition planning. This session will share the results of a cultural adaptation of a fidelity measure for transition teams to assess and improve their person-centered focus during transition planning in an effort to improve postsecondary outcomes for students with disabilities.
