Course Description: This session will present findings from a qualitative research study on the experiences of gardeners living on the Southside of Chicago. It will highlight themes regarding perceived benefits of gardening as it relates to participants' physical, mental, spiritual, and social wellness. It aims to help occupational therapy practitioners better understand the occupation of gardening in order to use it therapeutically in their own practice.
