Course Description: Despite a strong desire to work, employment rates for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) remain significantly lower than peers without disabilities. This presentation highlights the results of a UD training pilot that aimed to educate individuals with and without IDD on environmental redesign to increase 1) knowledge and confidence of Universal Design (UD), 2) volition, and 3) work satisfaction, participation, and performance.
