Course Description: In inpatient pediatrics, a child's mental health may be impacted just as much as their physical health. For many children, a hospitalization can be frightening, and targeting mental health can be just as crucial as biomechanically focused interventions. Mindfulness can be applied as a client-centered way to address this need and can positively impact an individual's ability to cope with a new diagnosis after a hospitalization.
