This presentation explores the role of occupational therapy in transition planning in therapeutic day schools. Research findings are presented on therapist and teacher perspectives on 1) the role of students’ self-determination in transition readiness, and 2) occupational therapy role in transition planning. Opportunities for interprofessional collaboration and future areas for research are discussed.
