While there are many interventions and supports for people experiencing homelessness, many lack an occupation-focused and client-centered approach. This presentation will shed light on recent evidence which demonstrates how providing services that stay true to the core values of occupational therapy ultimately results in a greater impact on engagement in meaningful occupations, social integration, sense of identity, quality of life, and well-being for individuals experiencing homelessness.
