This proposed presentation will present the findings of a systematic review on the effectiveness of guided imagery as an intervention for occupational therapists to use with children who are undergoing sedated treatment and their families/caregivers. The findings will be presented by four occupational therapy graduate students at the University of Illinois at Chicago who collaborated with a supervising professor and a practicing clinician to complete this project for a research-focused course.
