The primary purpose of this presentation is to understand the lived experiences of individuals diagnosed with a progressive neurological disease under the age of 50 and how occupational therapists can promote client-centered interventions through the use of client-centered assessment tools such as the Canadian Model of Occupational Performance (COPM) and client-centered models such as the Canadian Model of Occupational Performance and Engagement (CMOP-E).
